1991 ez go marathon wont go

I have a 1991 ez go marathon and when i went to hit the pedal to go, it slightly moved and acted like it was going to go then nothing and hit the pedal again and nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Welcome to BGW,

how old are the batteries and what make?, when is the last time you charged them, we need some battery readings, need the pack volts, and each battery volts, check for a loose cable, give all of the cables a good tug

Havnt had a chance to check battery with a meter but battery just said golf cart battery as the brand and they are 2007. Did put a test light on the motor and pressed the pedal and power was going to the motor. When i put it in reverse the buzzer does make noise but does not move in either forward or reverse and batteries have been charged.

I know you are trying to give us good info here but we can't do anything without #s to analysis.
We need battery pack standing voltage (and voltage if changed when you try to go)
We need to know if the solenoid clicks when you try to go, too.
