What is it worth?
I have a new 48V PQ motor and replaced my existing 36V Advanced DC motor and looking for the motor value to resell.
This motor has a high speed and low torque setting ability if you have the switch which I do to sell with the motor. The other alternative is to wire it for high speed always (as it is currently) or low torque always. Motor1.jpg Motor2.jpg Series motor from an 96 EZGO... any opinions on value? |

Re: What is it worth?
Price is gonna depend a lot on shipping. If you can find a local buyer it would help.

Re: What is it worth?
I agree... but what would a local price be is what I am trying to determine. I am new to the buggie scene although I know how much the new stuff costs

Re: What is it worth?
I got a crisp $50 bill
Not sure what they run new but you could look around a little on CL or just start with half of new. If I still had a series I would have been interested. |

Re: What is it worth?
Tony, well if nothing else, your motor is VERY clean and in great cosmetic condition.....so it would appear it either fairly new, or at least its had a good life.
I would google the model number and see what they are going for new.... if it were mine, and in as good a shape as it appears, I would be asking at least about 2/3 to 3/4 of the price of a new one..... that's just my .02 anyway. another option for you would be to put it in the box that your new motor came in and store it in a good place ........ because you never know, there could be a day you may either need it or want it for some mysterious reason.. |

Re: What is it worth?
Well there is a good idea, keep it and build another cart.. With that setup you could pick up a cart and build a neighborhood/hunting buggy..

Re: What is it worth?
Go to eBay and do an advanced search for "completed items". What current bids are or a seller thinks something is worth doesn't tell you if it sold, or for how much.
