We are getting our winter rains out here in CA now too. Not days on end like you folks but often enough to keep the new weed crop happy.....pretty soon weed abatement will be a regular job until the dry season again.

My youngest brother lives in Mcdounagh (spelling?) They are complaining too..Its hard to get the kids to pick up pecans in the rain......

Lakes have formed in my back yard over the past few days, they froze some around the shorelines last night and it is currently snowing.

I've been watching people driving 4-wheel drive vehicles trying to negotiate a steeply banked (~15°) turn about 600 yards southwest of my place.
Just because they go, doesn't means they'll turn or stop.

Actually, they do stop, but it is against the guardrail.
