Default are these motors compatible pic inside how to wire

Wondering if I could switch these motors out one is from a 91 ezgo 6v the other is from a 2001. If they are switchable how does the wiring go.

Well the 91 is a series motor for sure. The 01 could be series or sepex so you need to know. The series motor have the f&r mechanical switch between legs and the motor posts are marked A1, A2, S1, S2. If your 01 motor is series just connect A1 to A1 and so on.

The 91 motor is a medalist and I don't think they were marked. I don't know for sure. Here's the only picture I could find, no markings. Maybe someone with one can update.

The first pic u posted is how my 2001 looked before I repainted it. The 91 has no numbers

Here's the way I think the medalist motor is wired. I hope someone can verify this before you wire it up.
