Re: workhorse project
Thanks, I think that its gonna work good. I heard about some lifts tierod extenders flexing ,thats why I went with 1/2" plate and 7/8 cold roll . Shouldnt be any movement in that

Re: workhorse project
Need some opinions on theese springs. Do yall think they are gonna be 2 stiff, since I'm not going back with the dump bed? I plan on building a rear seat instead. The reason I ask is , Ive heard yall talk about 3 and 4 leaf springs, but never a 5. Also if I remove a leaf ,which one?

Re: workhorse project
I would say if you take one off, take the smallest one off. Mine only has 3 springs and I am thinking about going with 4 but I plan on keeping the dump bed.

Re: workhorse project
You might wait and see.....a cargo bed is almost always empty and a rear seat can have a pretty good load of 2 large adults.......

Re: workhorse project
Been gathering some parts and working on the frame some. Changed my mind on the rear seat. Think I'm gonna stick with the dump bed. Got all kind of cool ideas running through my head. The input shaft got new bearings and o-ring. Also threw in a Lincoln locker..Hope I dont regret.
What do yall think this extra batt box is for? also got tires on sale 23-8-12 altrails |
