Re: Problem with "white powder" under 06 Precedent

I am wondering if I can get a hose underneath and into the frame so I can spray the mess out. It does not appear I can do anything just by taking off the seat and spraying into the battery compartment. What do you think I should do? |

Re: Problem with "white powder" under 06 Precedent
if it was me I would remove the seat and batteries , neutralize everything , clean and paint (or use bed liner spray ) all rails , clean all battery posts and cables , reinstall and spray terminals with protective spray.

Re: Problem with "white powder" under 06 Precedent
I've attached photos. One is white stuff on garage floor (I have nature stone to prevent any confusion)
The other is the battery compartment. The compartment seems fairly clean so I am surprised. I did notice a small metal hook in the white stuff this time. Is this part of a larger issue? How concerned should I be? I don't think taking batteries would solve the problem as it looks rather clean in there. Please let me know. Thanks. |

Wasps have a paper like nest. If it was coming from the batteries there would also be a lot of corrosion on the batteries to.
