Which CC's have which engine???
Know nothing about CC's, have gas EZGO TXT right now.
Looking at getting a CC and not clear on what engines are in them, hp rating, and what years have what. Will be lifting it and putting big wheels and tires whatever we get. Thanks in advance!! |

FE 350 = 11.5 hp - from 95 to present (Some DS, some Carryalls, Precedents (07 and up), and some XRT vehicles FE 400 = 13.5 hp - Some 01+ larger Carryalls. and 07+ medium sized XRT's I really don't know... I sure wouldn't mind having one though! The tag will tell you! Hope this helps a little! |

Anyone have any idea how the 11.5 compares in power to the 9hp Robins in my TXT? Our campground is fairly hilly. |

We have a 06' with a FE 290 and machined clutches and have no problems climbing hills with 4 people. You should be fine with either 290-350

Re: Which CC's have which engine???
That's like comparing Apples to Oranges, but it is 2 more horsepower!
A bone stock FE350 is a good strong engine, with plenty of torque, even with 4 people aboard! Here's a pic of a hill that my cart (with an FE350) climbs at least 4 times a day with no problems! (don't mind the snow... it's not there now, but there is an asphalt road under there!) Some sparkies, 2 cycles, and older carts have problems with this hill, My FE350 climbs it like its nothing! |
