Default Yamaha G29 bad Creaking going over bumps or dips

I've searched for anything on the forum and can't find any matches so I'm hoping this is not a duplicate.

I just bought a 2009 YDRE G29 and when I go over a bump or dip in the path I get a loud creaking noise from the left side. It sounds like it reverberates through the vertical roof support. I've lubed everything, tightened all bolts, added rubber washers all around the aftermarket back seat and still it persists. I can stand next to the cart and push down on the rear seat arm rail and it happens once. Then I have to pull up for it to happen again but it happens as it is coming up as well. Even though I am pushing on the arm, the sound seems to be inside the left side of the body near the springs. I keep trying to listen / look as I replicate the noise but I just can't seem to find it. Any thoughts from the experts?

Shot in the dark...I was having a hell of a time with major problems due to a situation in the same area. Look for a bracket like this triangular bracket in the picture. I don't know if it comes one the stock G29 but this bracket was on my cart when I bought it in the spring. The whole rear end was loose after the weld snapped causing one the the two points that this bracket attaches to be disconnected. I had a lot of noise. I posted it on the forum with other pictures and an explanation right before I saw your thread.

I would make sure all those bolts are tightened.

Thanks. I think mine is similar but maybe a bit smaller for the triangle. It's a good lead and I'm going to go see if the bolts are tight. I'll post my findings.

No such luck. Mine does not have the triangle and the nuts on the cross beam are tight.

Check all roof support hardware, 4 are under the boots at the bottom of the front supports, 4 are under the access cover in the golf bag well, right at the top.

Thanks cgtech as always, you are spot on. I had tightened the two bolts on the down tube but there is one right under the edge of the hump of the body that I could only see from the opposite side. I tightened it and the horrible creaking is gone. Thank you so much!
