Replace Temp Sensor Thermistor QUIQ ?
Have Cart with QUIQ Charger. Temp sensor corroded beyond use. Ordered Temp Sensor from
https://www.batterypete.com/batterie...-kit-900-0002/ It is different from the one on cart. Has black and white wires that are much larger gauge than one on receptacle. When connected and placed on Battery, cart will not run. Cart runs when removed, but will not charge. Do I have the correct part? If not, can someone point me to it. If so, suggestions? BTW, I found where someone had same problem in an old thread, but never resolved. See http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-charge-5.html |

Re: Replace Temp Sensor Thermistor QUIQ ?
Those things are really annoying.. They make a couple of those sensors and of course the normal one people see and order is the one like you bought and that isn't it.. What color are your wires inside the grey cover ? And I think I remember you can put a 10K resistor across those two wires and the charger will be happy..

Re: Replace Temp Sensor Thermistor QUIQ ?
Unfortunately I think this note was missed:
“Note: This is not compatible with EZGO OEM Delta-Q chargers like the 913-4810-E3B. They use a different system and require a harness replacement that is OEM.” Unfortunately is a lot more expensive than the temp sensor alone. |

Re: Replace Temp Sensor Thermistor QUIQ ?
All the peeps in the delta-q official HQ seem to be on long term "holiday". I stopped wasting my time calling Canada a long time ago, they Never answer, and never call back. The distributors are really your only hope. Fullriver has been very responsive for me. Have "all your s""t together" so they don't figure you as a guy asking how to charge 6,000 watch batteries in series with a solar panel with the equipment in question. That scenario is one I have delt with so many times (not the 6,000 watch batteries, but you get it). They have built me custom lithium chargers as the "middle-man" between me and delta-q. Delta-q basically doesn't deal with dealers, smaller jobs, or end-users directly at all, only through distributors. It's pretty horrible attempting to deal with them directly. DPI is SO much better at that (not associated with Delta-q in any way). If you ask Ezgo about individual parts, ezgo will only offer a whole charge port. I have posted the part number for the sensor itself, but I hear it's hard to find these days. The "10k resistor trick" hooked to the negative wire does work.
