EFI differences
Hi everyone! Looking to get my first cart and have it narrowed down efi models...Yamaha PTV and club car with Subaru.
My question is...what year did Club Car start using the efi Subaru...2015? Were there any differences/changes throughout the years to look for or was a certain year better than another? I know it's only a couple years since produced but I would prefer to buy used to save some money because it will really only get used to putt around the neighborhood and haul coolers down to the boat. It's not an everyday needed vehicle...but I will say that some of the prices I've seen of the reconditioned or off lease and new body and lift, it's not that much more to just buy new! Unless I'm looking in the wrong places...looking around Chicago |

Re: EFI differences
Not sure if any changes were made. I have an early ‘15 Subaru engine and visually it looks like An ‘18. If you’re looking to buy used it won’t matter but I’ve heard that Yamaha bought out Subaru engines and starting with the ‘19 models CC will be switching to Koehler engines. So if you want a Subaru engine in a club car it sounds like you’ll need to go with a ‘15 through ‘18 model.
