2010 Electric RXV with precharge resistor failed fault

Hey guys. Hope all of you are well. I have an rxv that has been operating fine and now has stopped running. It is a Danaher controller but has the Curtis handheld adapter to read controller. We are getting a precharge resistor failed fault under diagnostics. I looked in the advanced troubleshooting manual but has nothing on this. Anyone has a lead?

Controller fault or solenoid contacts failing will do that. There is no external precharge resistor on the RXV.

Thanks Bob. Will check the solenoid first. I will change to a Navitas system is this controller has failed. Do not like the Danaher systems. Have you had any experience with Navitas conversion kit?

Just how does one connect a danaher controller to a curtis handheld? I've never heard of any such thing. What model is your handheld?

The newest Curtis handset has both modes, selectable for serial and CanBus prior to connecting it to the controller. It comes with a CanBus DB-9 ended cable that can be adapted to the run plug connector on the Danaher carts, but it lacks full functionality. The new Curtis controllers initiate communications in serial and switch to CanBus once communications have been established. It's a new world again, as they try to keep ahead of hackers. They will not sell new handsets with the advanced menus to dealers. The real dealers are getting left behind... again!
