Default Uno Battery

I just came across this battery and was curious if anyone else has seen it or has any experience with it

Never heard of them.

Continuous current seems low at 100 A, EcoBattery is 175 A.

45 lbs seems low for it's claimed capacity of 90 Ah, 72 Ah EcoBattery is 70 lbs.

Claimed range seems optimistic.

Agree with Dave.

The energy density (weight/Ah) of most drop ins will be similar as they are mostly using LiFePO4 technology. Maybe UNO is using NMC which has a higher energy density than LiFePO4, but it is still not twice as energy dense. (0.5lbs/Ah vs 0.91lbs/Ah for Roypow vs 1.25lbs/Ah for Allied)

90Ah is 90Ah, regardless of manufacturer so the increased range they claim must only be coming from carrying less weight from the lighter battery. I doubt you will gain 50% range (from 40 miles to 60 miles) by simply dropping around 60 lbs.

They also don’t provide a true data sheet and the only info they have is printed on the battery itself.

Be wary of unproven new batteries.

Something is way wrong spec wise. I would avoid them.

Yes, it was a curiosity kind of thing. It just didn't seem right.
