New U.S. Batteries
This is for my 2018 Precedent and I’m tried of checking my dash digital meter all the time to see if I’m going to make 18 holes and then the ride home.
Current batteries PD+ (Algorithm 31 from what I read) and decided to get new batteries in a few weeks. Decided on US Battery US 8VGC XC2 and I’m showing their Algorithm is 71. My charger (see pic) says Club Car on it, but looks like an Eric charger and shows Delta q technologies with a usb port. Once the new batteries are installed do I just download Algorithm 71 from this website, copy to a usb and plug into the charger to upload? https://support.delta-q.com/hc/en-us...eries-Chargers Thanks |

Re: New U.S. Batteries
Correct. Don't try to open the file or it will corrupt it, just extract it straight to the USB stick. Make sure the stick is clean, freshly formatted FAT32. No other files.
After updating the algorithm use another clean USB stick, or erase the USB stick and insert it into the charger and the charger will upload the history onto the stick. Download the IDAT software and you can check that the correct algorithm uploaded to the charger. I've had it take 2 or tries on occasion, so if it doesn't work first time start all over with a clean USB and try uploading the algorithm again. Also the charge history may not show the correct algorithm unless the charger starts a new cycle, so after doing the update plug the charger into the cart and let it start charging so it records a new charge cycle in the history log. |

Re: New U.S. Batteries
When I had on my PD+ batteries as a core replacement I'm removing my watering system and need to replace it with individual caps.
Are the caps generic and will twist onto all golf cart batteries? If not, what caps should I buy? |

Re: New U.S. Batteries
Your new batteries should come with caps. No - they are not all the same.

Re: New U.S. Batteries
These look like they might fit the PD+ batteries:

Re: New U.S. Batteries
Get rid of the watering system.
The valves in them fail and don’t fill the cells properly. They also turn single battery failures into chain explosions. |
