Default Lifts with good alignment

I know there are 1000 posts about lifts but I cannot find my answer. I have an 01 TXT and want a 4 or 6 inch lift. Problem is I see a lot with alignment issues. Can anyone recommend one that usually doesn't have those issues?

3 bolt or 4 bolt steering? I have an older 1997 TXT with 3 bolt, and replaced the front frame clip with one from a newer cart with the 4 bolt steering shaft, then installed the big RHOX 7" A-Arm lift. It is a stiff suspension, but straight as an arrow at 40+ mph on 26" Mongrels. Predator 670, no governor but my foot and 4000 RPM on the tach, and 8:1 gears. Steering radius is terrible though, and I am gonna work on fixing it. Still need to finish body work and paint it, but it runs and drives naked, and is super stable. The 3-bolt steering system was terrible. Almost killed myself and neighbor before the lift after a death wobble that occurred going straight down a paved road at maybe 25 mph. I have a 6" axle lift on my workhorse, also 3 bolt steering and it is terrible. Too many wearable parts in the system. It wasn't designed to go fast and straight.

I would guess 90% of the alignment issues are due to improperly setup alignment or installed kits..

There are other factors though. With some carts the alignment changes depending on the weight in the front causing the spring/s to sag when things are really worn the difference between 1 and 2 passengers can effect camber and caster.

Whatever alignment you go with make sure your shocks and springs are up to the task.

You will still have the issue of the cart feeling less stable on the road with the change in the center of gravity so some counter the effect a bit with offset wheels or spacers for a wider stance.

I have an expensive jakes lift on one of my carts and an almost identical ebay generic $75 6" lift on my g8. I found no difference in quality or function in my case but YMMV.

It’s a 4 bolt steering cart so I’m off to a good start there lol.

Thanks for the response! I am looking at the allsports kit. Then replace shock bushings and even considering HD leafs. We cruise around the campground a lot loaded with adults.
