Default Need help to adjust governor rod to factory spec 1991 CC

1991 Club Car with KF82 engine

The nut was loose on the governor arm on the transaxle and the governor rod has slipped .
Does anyone know or have the manual with instructions to set to factory specs?
Thanks guys

The stock adjustment procedure for the governor on the 1984-1991 carts is to loosen the bolt on the governor arm on the transmission. Then manually push the throttle to full open position, hold in place, push the governor arm to full forward position, hold in place, then re-tighten bolt on governor arm.

Springbok,
Thanks for the reply. That seems to be why the engine was cutting out at 3/4 throttle bad. I moved it like you said and lost several mph. I moved arm back just until it started missing again then moved it up a hair. Now runs at 15-16mph. No speed demon but atleast it is running smooth.
Now I have all the bugs worked out I'll give the guy a call and see if he still has the body for sale
Thanks again

That's awesome. I basically got my cart for free as well. My father-in-law gave it to me when the motor blew up. Nice to start out ahead. I've only got about $750 in my cart so far.
