88 Drive Clutch
Hello,
Trying to find out if I can use a drive clutch from a 94 because I can't seem to find one specific for my buggie. Stupid me broke it trying to get it off Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Branden |

1987.5 to 1996 gas Club Cars all use the same drive clutch. I think that the 1997 and up carts also use the same clutch but I'm not 100% on that. Don't feel bad, I broke mine trying to remove it last year too.

I should add for other readers that if you have an older cart, you can upgrade your old 1984-1987 Salsbury drive clutch to the newer style (it will fit right on), but the only thing is that you will need to also upgrade your driven clutch at the same time or the clutch centerlines will not line up and your belt will be strained. The older drive/driven clutches route the clutch about 1/2" further out from the motor than the 1987.5-up clutches.
