Default Quick Coil/Igniter question..

Im almost embarrassed to ask....

On my 99 DS, is the coil and igniter the same piece? I cannot see a igniter and looking up parts online only show the one piece!!

I believe that the wire unplugs from the head :-) Because I know you can buy the cap separately... The ignition coil/ignitor is the other piece..

On 97+ CC's the ignitor is incorporated with the coil, so yes, they would be considered one piece,
Pre-96 CC's had the ignitor under the Rev Limiter on the lower front of the engine.
