electric club car
98 electric club car, The batterys seem to be in good shape, it runs good but every now and then it will just die and few minutes later it will start back up and running the forward and reverse switch has a a loose connection on the switch the bolt is tight but can still turn the bolt and cable but doesn't seem to have a affect on it when you have the gas pushed and moving it, somewhere said something about the solenoid.

Re: electric club car
History helps...how old are the batteries...date code stamped in the lead next to post. Water checked lately...voltage checked while charger is working...voltage checked on each individual battery while not charging...you do NOT need to disconnect cables to do this. The main problem with batteries is they can do most things o.k. But still fail under load...plus you can have one or two bad batteries that can mess up the whole bank. Is the cart 36v or 48v? What config are the batteries?
