Since we don't have your serial # to know. Is it possible that you have a sepex motor on a series cart or vise versa?

The tires are 23x10x14

Big tires and high speed motor. This can easily be a mis-match resulting in the motor drawing more amperage than the 350a system can deliver.
Is the terrain where you drive the cart hard & flat? Do more than 2 people ride on the cart? Do you tow a trailer? All these answers are important to the correct advice on suitable components

Please post pics of the components and cabling so we can see exactly what we are being asked to analyze.

It's not a series motor it's an Advanced motor 3294/GG0 -4001

Here's another possibility. You have a mismatch with your motor and controller. The field map isn't adjusted correctly and it's causing the motor to overheat. I don't know if you can reprogram a Curtis in the field. Maybe somebody else will. I would consider going with the program-able Alltrax.

I put an Alltrax in an identical cart and it runs fine although not as fast

I put an Alltrax and a AMD motor in my cart and I didn't feel a lot of difference until Alltrax sent me a new field map to reprogram my controller.
