Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy
Our 2000 ST350 has had a bit of a bouncy ride for a while now. The new tires and rims make it worse.
The problem is that I'm not sure where to start looking. I did notice this weekend that the bounce appears to originate with the rear axle. I thought the shocks were shot (they might be), but not real sure. I need to replace the rear shocks anyhow as I have about 400lbs worth of people in the back this weekend and had to go slow as I had no positive control when I picked up speed. (Front end got REAL light.) |

Re: Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy
I finally got around to replacing the springs, shocks, and related bushings.
The ride is better and not as bouncy as it was. The remaining bounce seems to be coming from the front end and the wedge-based leveling kit that is on it. That goes away as soon as I get the time do that part. |
