Tryouts no to install radio to ignition switch in 2016 Ezgo TXT
I have wired my head unit connecting yellow wire to positive battery terminal, black to negative terminal and I am trying to determine which lead to connect the red wire to if I want the radio to go into power off mode when ignition is off. Does anyone know which lead I should use in my gas golf cart.

if you use the switch of your ezgo you will have to use the ground wire from your radio the switch uses ground instead of 12 volt so I recommend that you wire it into the lighting harness so when you cut on your lights it turns your radio on otherwise if you use the ignition switch you will loose memory settings on your radio when you cut the switch off because of the fact that the ignition switch is wired to the ground side of your harness
