2000 EZGO TXT - Throttle Sticking
I have had issues with the throttle on my 2000 EZGO TXT sticking. When you push the pedal down all the way, the throttle sometimes sticks. To correct it immediately I can hook the pedal and pull it back with my foot. Otherwise, if I hit the brakes, it will eventually come back. I replaced the throttle cable as I thought that may be the issues, but that didn't correct it.
Thoughts on what else I can do? Any quick fixes? TIA |

Is your pedal physically sticking forward or is it just your throttle cable sticking and holding the butterfly on the carb open? Have you checked your governor spring?

I have not checked the governor spring, but that does seem pretty loose. Thanks for the help, that might be it.

There is also a throttle return spring next to the pedal. Make sure it isn't broken.
