Default 89 Marathon Primary Clutch Removal

Any tricks to help remove an Original rusty primary clutch off an 89 Marathon 2 cycle gas? Cleaned everything, Brought the puller kit from Buggies and no luck. Plenty of PB blaster, some heat and still not budging. Any suggestions? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

1/2" drive impact would be my suggestion.

Back up a minute. When you say puller kit, I hope you mean a single long threaded rod, and not some other kind of a puller contraption.

Thanks. I brought the EZGO Clutch Puller Kit that fits 1976-Up 2 cycle gas from Buggies. Slide Puller Rod, Puller Bolt and Puller Bolt Washer.

Talk about a $40 ripoff. Look at post 26. This is all you need. https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/show...p?t=946&page=3

It presses against the end of the crankshaft while the big bolt pulls against the clutch.

If you don't have access to an impact, tighten it as tight as you can, and then shock it with a hammer.
