What kind of controller? the whole cart may be fine if you can dry it out and clean it up with WD40 or such. Fresh water won't hurt if you can get it dried out.... If you are mechanical.... start taking it apart. pull axles. drop pan. pull motor. pull the floor mat. dry the ITS. etc. Probably everything except the controller & batts are good if you can dry it.

As Scotty said, kiss the controller and batteries goodbye, but everything else is salvagable.......

Like Rabbit said everything else is salvageable provided you start right away working your arse off disassembling and drying it out...... otherwise you got borrowed trouble

Yeah, you REALLY don't want to let the water sit on anything for any length of time.

For the ITS box, drill a 1/4 inch hole in the center of the box to allow water to drain out. While you are in there, go ahead and replace the ITS micro as chances are it will fail eventually from the water.

Pull the motor and set it so that any water in it can drain out.

Drop the pan on the rear end and drain it.

I have "recovered" many a car that went for a swim and rarely have I had to replace the motor in one as long as the cart was dismantled quickly.
