Re: brake drum removal
Here is a pic of the setup. Notice that the drum is flush in the middle, unlike the ezgo drums I have seen. The puller is home-made, but seems to be pulling evenly. I tried another type of puller on the cart a few yeas ago-it had a pointed end that fit into the center of the axle - I damged the axle by overtightening, and had to do some filing to get the nut to go back on. I have been spraying them with PB daily, and hitting the hub with a large hammer after tightening down on the puller. I have also hit the end of the puller with the hammer, but these guys just won't let go.

Re: brake drum removal
Hmmm, if those studs are part of the axle then I would expect to see the flat ends on the obverse of the back plate. Have you looked behind the drum to see if there are four flat squares that align with the studs?

Re: brake drum removal
I also have my doubts about the studs being attached to the drum. Have you tried pulling the drum separate from the studs... Can we get you to jam a large flat pry bar between the backing plate and drum? That's what I would be trying.... also have you tried pounding the drum ON ? Any movement either way will break the rust bond..... just trying to help getting it to budge. I'm running out of patience here LOL

Re: brake drum removal
Melex copied Ezgo, The drum you posted looks like today's Ezgo drums.... I can also show you Ezgo drums without studs when Ezgo had rear hubs.
