Unknown part on my Curtis 1204-027
Hi guys, do any of you guys know what this part is...what does it do and a part number. I brought it to an electronics store to see if I could get a replacement, but they had no idea what it was.
It's the yellow thing in the attached picture on my 1204 -027 Curtis controler for a 1994 Marathon. Also if there is a generic part I can get so any info would be a big help. |

That is the Varistor, it goes between the connections to help protect the controller.
