PDS no reverse
Need help troubleshooting my 05 PDS..everything works fine except reverse. Forward fine, batteries good, someone suggested I change solenoid and I did and that didn't help either. When switch is in reverse and pedal is pressed I hear a click but nothing happens. What else do I need to look for or check? Thanks

DPS directional switching is done by the controller (inside the controller) Things to check are the PDS toggle switch and the F1 and F2 wire connections. on the controller swap the white & black 10g F1 and F2 wires. If now you have reverse only and no forward = the motor (terminals) is okay. Return wires to orig position.
Test toggle switch. |

On rare occasions the rocker can fail. Test continuity of the switch in both positions, F&R.
The most likely cause of this symptom is controller failure. |
