Default Jake's brake question

Got the front hydraulic brake kit installed. They work great..,but when I stop they squeak maybe squeal at a low speed(when brakes are applied). They don't do this when I'm at top speed and hit the brakes until it is almost at a stop. They don't seem to be hanging up. Is this normal? Is this just the pads seating? or what?

In general disc brakes do not have springs to pull the pads back like drum shoes do. Some amount of dragging is normal with disc brakes.

That would be my guess and I bet they'll quieten down after a few more stops
