DCS in reverse and reverse in forward
1995 DCS goes in reverse when in reverse and goes in reverse when in forward. Any thoughts!?

Welcome to BGW
first you need to flip the ( tow/run switch to TOW ) it's on top of the controller cover under the seat, then you need to remove the cover on the controller, then switch the ( black & white ) wires that plug in on top of the  |

Hope it's not the controller. Mine would go forward in forward, and forward (w/ buzzer) in reverse. Turned out my controller was bad. DO NOT!, I repeat DO NOT! run this cart on a low charge. That is how my DCS cart's controller got fried I think.

Well I switched the black and white wires as suggested on the controller and now the cart will go forward all the time, even in reverse.funny.All wiring is correct per the skematics and so our only thought is the controller. What do you all think?

In a DCS cart the directional switching is done by the controller.
One of the ways we see the controller fail is by loosing one direction or by going in only one direction regardless of the selector position. You need a controller. An upgrade is a wise decision in my opinion. You will enjoy more torque and speed and have a more durable unit. |
