Only a scratch, good thing. But in that same picture it looks to me like your battery cap is on backwards

slow down there bill nye... abietate on Cu is a product of rosin flux. the only way to know for sure that the green material is abietate is if the joint was assembled with pure rosin (aka: water white) flux. even mildly activated rosin fluxes contain agents that are corrosive to copper.... are you implying that your silver soldered cables are assembled with pure rosin flux?
