i have seen ac motors with shorts in the windings starting in the wrong direction...... hope yours is not a motor problem from

ill be back at the shop tomorrow and will pull the motor and replace with another one to see...

OK..its not the motor! Put a brand new one in and its doing the same thing..I noticed the #3 battery cable seems to be getting hot while the others are not and alsovthe cable from the f/r switch to the controller is getting hot. F/R switch is only 3months old and looks fine all contactors are clean and cables are tight. In forward with the pedal to the floor it will jump back just a little thrn try and go forward then back a little. In rev, with the pedal mashed it just jumps backwards a bit. .??

get a volt meter and measure voltage at motor terminals f1 & F2 when you depress the pedal

do the same thing for terminals a1 & A2

are you missing voltage at one of these ??
