Default Carryall 2 voltage under torque

Recently bought a 2001carryall 2 48v and im not to happy about the up hill power. I live at the top of a small hill and only get like 4mph in the cart on the way up.
Since then ive load tested batts ( all 8 volts during the hill climb)
And tested power at motor ( 48 on level ground and only 43/44 up the hill)
Do these readings sound good for up hill?

Changed wires between all batts.

Was going to lift cart and put larger tires as well.
Will thus slow the cart up hill even more?

What to do??

Any sugestions on hill climb?
And or lift kit/tires?

Do these readings sound good for up hill? The readings are normal.

Changed wires between all batts. You should change all the cables to 4 or 2g for optimum aperage

Was going to lift cart and put larger tires as well.
Will thus slow the cart up hill even more?Yes, bigger tires change the final drive gear ratio by as much as 35% on average

What to do??
The quickest, easiest, least expensive upgrade you can do is to install a 36v series motor in the cart. You will get a 30% increase in speed and torque with the 36v motor running on 48v. Make sure your cables and F&R are in top condition to avoid problems with heat related to amperage delivery.
