Anyone not carry a fire extinguisher yet?

I any of my carts burn up, its not a big deal. But what burns up with them is very scary. Always bothers me eveytime I cut grass and put the mower in the shop for the same reason. Wasn't there a member that had a Rhino burn up a few years back?

Oh great! Now I have to put a halon bottle system with temp sensors and electrical shut off switches in my cart.

I looked at the story and the rest of the photos, and if that was my cart, I'd have pushed it into the pond if I couldn't get the fire out!

I don't have any pics yet. But I used self tapping screws & placed it just to the right of the gas pedal, vertically, underneath the cup holders.

Thought about mounting it to the cage but figured it would be in the way as I have other things there. It's really not in the way unless your packing 3 bodies in the front seat anyway.

Ordered my fire extinguisher today. I almost lost my cart this week at the beach. The motor shorted out putting pack voltage to the frame. The stainless steel brake lines caught fire and caught the 12 volt accessories wiring on fire. Luckily there was sand nearby and I used the plastic under seat tray to haul enough sand ( after several trips) to extinguish the flames.. CLOSE!!!!!
