Default 96 ez go batteries

i bought a 96 ez go electric cart..bought it dirt cheap..it needs all new batteries..whats the best place and battery for that?this is my first electric cart....

i used trojan t-605. not the strongest trojan but good- myrtle beach s.c. 80.00 with core each
