Toggle Switch Placement for Lights?
Hi i'm new to this website and i was just wondering where would be a good spot to place a toggle switch for lights on my 2006 EZGO? Regular 12v halogens, picked up on sale at a local tractor dealership. I have a regular on/off rocker switch. Sorry for the dirty cart, its for around the farm. Pictures will be added. Thank you!

Re: Toggle Switch Placement for Lights?
I installed lights on my 2007 PDS and mounted a PUSH-PULL switch right in the center of the black grommet that is near your right knee/leg when sitting in the cart (ends up almost directly below your right hand). No need to reach over to the dash. Worked great for me and you don't need to run the wires as far. Maybe your rocker switch will fit there as well. Check it out. Good luck - RAY

Re: Toggle Switch Placement for Lights?
Another option is to buy a three position EZ-GO key switch. The three position switches have two independent circuits, so one can control the 36 volt side and the other can control a 12 volt circuit for the lights.

Re: Toggle Switch Placement for Lights?
do i need an extra 12v batter or 2 six volts or can i switch the wires around every once in a while to wear down the batterys two at a time.. you know what i mean? but i doubt that the lights drain that much battery..

Re: Toggle Switch Placement for Lights?
Just make sure whatever switch you use is outdoor rated. If you mount it in the FNR cover, it will get wet when you wash down the batteries and will be exposed to acid fumes.
