Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
Looks awesome!!! I really like the stereo install with the dash you can shut and lock.
I have my 8 inch amplified Bazooka tube above the motor......tight fit, but sound is GREAT! No room in the bagwell as my 12v battery is in there. |

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
I'll have to look again above the rear end to maybe stuff the sub in there. I mounted the radio using just a regular universal stereo mount from ebay for like 10$ shipped and when I mounted it I used some spacers to make sure when the door opened it was center and accessible.

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
What we did to get it in there was jack up the cart and put jackstands under the frame and let the rear end hang down. We disconnected the battery and put a towel over the top of the motor. It was still snug ......but just take your time and it will fit.
Here is a couple of pics with it stuffed up in there. Good luck! |

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
Here's a link to the one I got. I'm not really in to all the fancy dashes they have so I got something that matches the black trim.

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
I have the same dash as well. I works for me. Mostly for looks and to keep out the dust. I have a LONG gravel driveway.

Don't know why yours is junk, mine works fine for what it was purchased for. It was cheap and I thought it would have looked worse than it actually does.

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
I moved my sub above the rear end as you did and it sounds alot better. Now I gotta get me a marine battery for the back. Did you run all the wires to a distribution block with fuses?

Re: My Precedent stereo install pics
I used a fuse block similar to the link here, but mine has a cover. I mounted it in the front up underneath. I ran 6 gauge wire from my battery to the block. Probably overkill, but I had some laying around.
Good luck! |
