longevity for Battery's
Is it true to discount the Neg and Pos cable to the battery if the cart sets for more then a few weeks or a mounth ?

It really shouldn't be necessary to disconnect battery cables, but won't hurt. If nothing else, it might protect you from fire if something should short out while the cart is in storage.
Mind you, you don't need to disconnect the ends of the battery pack, simply breaking a connection anywhere in the string will do. When I'm working on my cart, I'll often lift a connection in the middle of the pack, just for safety. |

Thank you --- I've have a wing nut on the Neg and pos front leads ... That would be good idea -- peace of mind in case of a fire ...
I heard that the battery would drain some power if left for a long period without useage... |

Just make sure you put your cart in "tow" if you have a tow/run switch before disconnecting a battery cable. The only thing I'm not sure of is if you disconnect a battery cable then your OBC can't keep track of the discharge rate so it may need to learn the pack again. I could be wrong though.
