Re: Price Difference
US Battery 8VGCE-XC
Rate of Discharge: 230 min. @ 25 amps -- 60 @ 75 amps Amp-Hours (AH): 121 AH @ 20 hr. rate Weight: 64 lbs. Dimensions: 10 1/4 in. x 7 1/8 in. x 11 1/4 in. Cycle Life: 650 cycles US Battery 8VGCHC-XC Rate of Discharge: 345 min. @ 25 amps -- 95 @ 75 amps Amp-Hours (AH): 183 AH @ 20 hr. rate Weight: 70 lbs. Dimensions: 10 1/4 in. x 7 1/8 in. x 11 1/4 in. Cycle Life: 650 cycles Personally I would go with the 8VGCHC-XC2, depends on your operating requirements and driving terrain. Note also, that US batteries are the same battery as Interstate batteries, just a different label. I found this out when I went to the local distribution dealer, laughed and then bought the Interstate battery for $68.00 each (plus core). My five cents.... |

Re: Price Difference
Agreed, you want to buy the most battery you can afford for the job at hand. (within reason) But the available amperage is significantly higher in one battery than the other there, That will mean longer run-time.

Re: Price Difference
Oconnorb i see i posted the wrong picture on one of the batteries it was supposed to be the one with 170AH not 121AH so the difference would be 13AH between the 170 and 183...
i also called the interstate dealer and he quoted me similar prices but would not deliver them to me. 2 hour drive to get them one way. my other choice would be a local exide dealer but i have not heard anything good about them. |

Re: Price Difference
i just called again to double check and the interstate batteries here are $20/battery more and thats without delivery for the same 170AH battery. so US wins around here! i wish i could find them around here for $68 Oconnorb! thats a great deal.
