I say go for it!! There has been more than few that have done it and have kept all original electronics and haven't had a problem..

What ya gunna use to cut that bucket?
I recommend a roto-zip if you can lay your hands on one. And on the bat tie downs, forget about torching, just get a sledge and hammer them straight and they will be good. Write down all wire connections. Let us know if you run into difficulties. |

Never heard of one of those tools, skull cutter? Sound kinda like a sawing tool, so it should be good.
