Converting 3 wheel to 4

How hard is it to convert a 3 wheel cart to a 4 wheel cart? I was given an older 3 wheel EzGo, and I want to convert it to a 4 wheel cart. I know I will need some front springs and probably a new steering gear, but what else?

I am sure you would have to switch out some parts, but I guess it's possible...
Or buy a 4 wheel cart...

Parts Needed: Axle,hubs,springs,steering-arm assy(your box will work,but you need the rest of the linkage).Shocks,tie-rod,drag-link(tie-rod from spindle to steering-arm on frame).You can probably find a 4-wheel parts cart very cheap,then just use the 4-wheel chassis,and your parts from your 3-wheeler.A better option if you want to keep the current cart,is build a custom front-suspension(ATV-parts,etc...).Hope this helps.

I would think that would be a lot of work. Like others have said.. if you want a 4 wheel cart, get a 4 wheel cart.

I tried making my 2 wheel drive jeep into a 4 wheel drive jeep.. $1500 later, my 2 wheel drive jeep was still 2 wheel drive and the 4 wheel donor jeep was on its way to the junk yard.
