Default New wheels installed, finally..

Finally got my new 14" wheels with 205/30/14 tires put on. I got a great deal from my local cart dealer. He took my old Commander motor, OEM controller and 10" wheels/worn-out Saharas in on an even trade for the new wheels and tires.

I guess I could have put the stuff for sale, but I think his offer was excellent for me.

Sweet, nice to see a unique look and if the trade was good for you and him, it was a good trade.

I went to the lake summer before last with my cart and new wheels and tires and had the only setup like it. But since I bought the set on ebay, I should have known it wouldn't last. When I went back last summer, every other cart had my wheels in one size or another and similar or same tires.

Thanks for the comments! Ya, I have to change my avatar. My only dislike: I wish the tires were a little wider. The rims are 7", but they only make 205s for them, so far.

@salt, so far I have the only "twisters" around, but like you said, it prolly wont last..

Compared to the saharas, they are super quiet and smooth. The saharas had better braking traction, though. All in all, I'm happy with my choice.

You made a great deal, nice wheels too.

Salt, your wheels are very popular, I had those on one of my carts and almost every other private cart at the club has them also.

Well let's face it, it's a nice looking wheel but they are fairly cheap, comparitively speaking. I see the same style on a lot of full size vehicles - mostly trucks, and I doubt they'd last very long if not kept clean. I know I got a lot of looks and comments the first season I had them so I wasn't surprised to see so many of them when I went back the next year.
