Tire pressure hi or low

I have a 36v with 23"tires and what seems to be a 300amp controller( not the best set up I know but that's how I got it)

My question is the tires seem to be low on air thus making the tire size smaller. This will help torque but is the added rolling resistance worth it?

Optimal inflation is when the weight on the footprint is spread equally from side to side.
You can "grow" the circumference over-inflating until only the center of the tread touches, but I'm not sure how much you can "shrink" the circumference since the center of the tread will become concave and the weight will rest on the outside edges.

I'm just guessing, but I suspect the the increased rolling resistance of significantly under-inflated tires will be harder on the overloaded controller than any torque gained by the "shrinkage" in circumference, if there is any.

They aren't that soft just make a lot of road noise I will add air to them today thanks for the reply

A quick way to check for proper inflation is draw a line across the tread with chalk and then drive about three or four tire revolutions on pavement.
(With 23" tires the cart will move about six feet per tire revolution)

If the center is worn more, the tire is over-inflated.
If the edges are worn more, the tire is under-inflated.
If the wear is about the same side to side, you've got proper inflation.

BTW - This trick works for cars and trucks also.

Ya they were at 10psi and the max is 20 psi the felt very soft so I went up to 15psi
