Default slow 85 marathon

I just finished putting a 85 back together. All the cables and wires and switches were unhooked. I have it back together. It goes forward and reverse, okay its just slow in forward. I used gps to verify and it only will go 10 mph on flat ground. I'm using a 3-12 with new deep cycle marines that I used once before on an old Marathon with good results. I have several electric charts and I've got things , I think all where they are supposed to be.

You say it's slow in forward. Does it go faster in reverse?

If I'm thinking the same thing turtle is you may have the half speed reverse cable from the f and r hooked to your main positive and your main positive hooked to your third or forth battery in the series....

I answer to either. Unlike Dr. Seuss' Yertle the Turtle, I go by Yurtle Turtle.

According to Urban Dictionary,

Yurtle

The demon spawn of hell. spewd from the deepest darkest pits of satan's nightmares. Fueled by the sorrow of the dead and dying as well as the pain and suffering of all who know his name. This apocolypse takes form in the shape of the one thing no one expects... a pet turtle.

1. Oh look at the cute little turtle.

CHOMP

Yurtle did him in.

i think we need a wiki dictionary term for yurtle..i looked and cant find it so your explanation sounds great to me,as long as the words, apacolypse, demon from he!!,and spawn of satan are used it should go over w/out a hitch in this"new world of order" and economic boom
