Charger problem?
36v Power Wise, Model 28115 G04. Pack voltage is 37.9. Relay clicks as normal but charger does not kick in. Thinking it is the charger and not the cart. Worked normally last night. Never had a charger issue before so need to learn how to trouble shoot and know this is the right place. Can someone get me started in right direction?
Several months ago I had a similar problem but just moved the plug around in the charger outlet on the cart and the charger started. The prongs on the plug and outlet look old, dirty. Could it be as simple as cleaning them? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Charger problem?
When the relay in the charger clicks does the transformer hum?
If not it could be bad relay contacts, bad transformer, bad AC power cord or bad wall outlet. Here is a manual for charger |

Re: Charger problem?
JohnnieB, feel stupid saying it but after checking everything on the cart finally realized that the outlet was the problem. GFI tripped somewhere that was part of that circuit. Never the less I was happy I did not have to start messing with the charger. Thank you for your help.

Hi Joe, This is an indication that the connection terminals are worn. Replace the 2 Radsok in the receptacle for renewed connections. |

Re: Charger problem?
Joe, I've got the two used ones that worked perfectly before I replaced the connector on my cart & charger with hi-amp marine trolling motor connectors (had to have the room to put the extra battery on that side). You're welcome to them. I could mail them to you, if you can't find new ones......

Re: Charger problem?
Knothead, thank you for the offer. Everything is working fine at this point so I think I am going to leave things be. Thanks again
