Default Voltage Meter Gauge

I was wondering if you guys think this voltage meter would work on a 48 volt series CC. I know the voltage goes up to 99 volts but worried about the amps. What do you think? I know we have site sponsors with meter gauges but I'm trying to save a little money.

. . . for the price, why not? . . . be careful with water, though . . . does not look like a sealed unit . . . may fail after one outing in the rain . . .

It has been proven time after time, you get what you pay for.

The carts amperage draw would have no effect on it. May not handle moisture and vibration as well.

I went that route with my 1st 2 meters and they did not last long. When they were working, I was getting false readings which is almost worse than not having a meter. Maybe you will have better luck.

Look for a sealed waterproof unit.

Look for a sealed "two" wire meter instead of the "three" wire meter. They are easier to hook up and will last longer.

Agreed. Get 2 wire. The 3 wire require separate power source, usually well below the pack voltage (5v or 12v).
