Default not charged

I have a 2003, 48v, club car. I recently (last week of June) replaced all the batteries with new ones, (wal mart brand). With new fresh batteries all reading between 7.5-8.0 voltage I ran the car all day on July 3rd and July 4th. By the end of the day on July 4th, the car was slowly loosing it's speed and creeped along. So, that afternoon I put the charger on it, and let it charge for over 6hrs. The charger needle did not moved from the original reading (15), and so after six hours of charging, I tried using the cart again and still not much if any power. All batteries were tested, they have a good charge, the voltage was checked from the charger to the outlet good reading. A full load was tested on the batteries, still have a good charge. But, still the car is running extremely slow, and creeps along. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

A fully charged 8v battery should be well above 8 volts fully charged.
The entire pack should read close to 51v when fully charged.
I would check your wiring to get them to properly charge.

. . . battery charge cycle can take up to 16 hours (new batteries are not fully charged off the shelf) . . . let the charger do it's thing . . .
