Default Soc 2008 rxv

My 2008 has the original batteries and I have noticed the last few months the analog voltmeter needle has been a little lower. Would cooler weather play a part in this?
I charged the batteries 14hrs ago and just checked them with my hand held digital (cheap) voltmeter.
12.8
12.6
12.6
12.4
50.02 from the lead wires
Think they will be OK for another Summer or is it time to start shopping?

What are your run time requirements/driving habits (time/distance)?

Temperature does affect the batteries amp hour storage capacity and thus range/run time. This chart is from Trojan but other makes would be similar.

I use the cart for long weekends at least every 2-3 weeks at the beach in the Summer and I'm near pretty much everything I need so maybe 30 min a day within 6 blocks.
Do golf cart batteries die slowly or are they like cars and one day you try to start them and SURPISE its dead?

It's more of a slow death. You'll notice that you're not able to go as long on a charge. If you're able to charge your batteries every night, then your 30 minutes per day shouldn't have any problems for a while.
