I'm thinking it has a high speed motor with a stock controller at this point but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions on a lil higher amp controller?. Something easy with just a lil more amps

Anyone on this site able to help with this? How do I know for sure the cart is shutting it's self down to protect it?

. . can you take it to a CC dealer to have them scan it for error codes? That may eliminate the guesswork . . . I THINK the controller has a thermal cutback that comes into play when temperature exceeds 185* . . .
