Rear end trouble?
I have a1997 c.c. Ds 48v. when I step on gas there is a clunking sound coming from the rear end. It dose not matter if it is in forward or reverse. I've also tried with the bad end jacked up and wheels off the ground. Any ideas??

Re: Rear end trouble?
Check all your leaf spring bushings and make sure your axle U bolts are tight. Check your motor bolts also. If all that is good jack it back up and try turning the wheels by hand forward and backwards, it could just be some slop in the gears. While its in the air go ahead and change the lube in the rear end.
