Default How to wire a steering wheel horn

I purchased a steering wheel with a horn in the middle, like a car horn. I don't know how to wire this thing up. There's no hole in the adapter for wires to run through.

There are two contacts under the horn button but I'm not sure if I need to hook + or - to those wires. This came with absolutely no instructions. I'm assuming that I run 12v+ to one side and come off the other lead to the horn.

The other question I have is once I get wires into the horn area, what prevents those wires from being twisted all the way around when I turn? I was thinking about coiling up a wire, like an old phone cord (showing my age), inside the horn assembly but am not sure if that would work.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I purchased this steering wheel with the CC DS Chrome adapter.

its a lot easier to put a foot switch in, if you lift up floor mat there is all ready a hole there, a lot of wheels are made for cars and trucks

You can't do it on a Cart, there's no room to run the wires in the steering column, and you only have half of what you need

It is possible to do, you will need a plate with spring loaded contacts for power and ground, that will keep the wires from twisting, its doable, but the floor switch is alot less headaches!
